Ernie Williams began his insurance career working with one of the world’s top insurance companies. After years of winning several awards from Allstate, he decided to open his own independent agency, which allowed him to broaden and diversify the scope of insurance options available.
The Ernie Williams Insurance Agency is the result of more than 30 years of business management and ownership experience. More importantly, it is the fulfillment of a personal goal—to help others know the importance of how insurance can protect them, their families, and their assets.
Early on in life, Ernie developed a passion for caring for others and learning how to serve his neighbors. He loves to talk to everyone he meets and believes that it is important to leave those he meets feeling better about themselves.
At Ernie Williams Insurance Agency, the focus is on taking the time to educate customers about the importance of having insurance for every facet of their lives as well as obtaining life insurance for the future. We used to say, “You’re in good hands.” Now, however, we say that we are “protecting your world.”
Lisa (Lisamarie) Shaw’s proudest accomplishments in life so far is being an amazing mom to two great children, London and Landon. Becoming an insurance agent was so natural because she listened and watched her dad (Ernie Williams) for years before accepting the challenge then became the very best insurance Agent in the State of Texas! (Grandpa’s opinion of course).
After graduating from Desoto High School in 1999 she found herself becoming a two state resident of (Oklahoma and Texas). This among other things has taught some interesting life lessons and obviously keeps Lisamarie awfully busy. In Oklahoma she along with the kiddos raise registered Angus Cattle their ranch and in Texas they raise show Goats in Waxahachie.
More than just a hobby Lisamarie loves “The State Fair of Texas and Big TEX!
David Cummings Jr is a 2003 graduate of Palestine High School and attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University and Sam Houston State University.
Being a great leader is just one of the many characteristics that David possess, his desire to continue to learn mixed with his deep passion for learning, listening, and educating others are key components to his success. “I am an avid sports fan and I love almost all genres of music. I find great joy in fatherhood and I’m constantly working to be the best father, brother, son, nephew and neighbor that I can be in this world.” There’s a large number of young men in this community David would like to impact and leave better off by mentoring and being a positive role model.
One of his favorite sayings is “Don’t cry over spilled milk, wipe it up and pour another cup”
Ryan Hill is a native Texan with a very diverse background, and has many, many interests. A 2007 honor graduate of Skyline High School in Dallas, Texas and a 2012 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where he majored in History, Prelaw, and Political Science. Ryan received the coveted Doctor of Jurisprudence from the New England School of Law in2016.
Having a passion for living life to the fullest and experiencing everything this life has to offer. He says whether it’s the fresh seafood of the Northeast or the moonlit canals of Venice, he fully appreciates living in the moment.
Ryan is a high IQ guy, and it shows when he is working with our clients. He can answer the tough questions by always doing the research then giving a thoughtful answer. Definitely a problem solver!
Roy Santana has been a licensed insurance agent for a number of years now, and he brings dedication and a desire to learn and share with the Advisors every day. Prior to entering the insurance industry, Roy worked in the Personal Injury industry handling claims for customers that had been involved in auto accidents.
There are three very important things to Roy, being a Christian, being a devoted husband, and a loving kind father. Roy and his wife Jessica have two wonderful daughters that keep them on their toes and full of joy. With a heart for people, and a desire to protect our customers, Roy goes above and beyond for our customers to provide the best onboarding experience and unparalleled service.
Clyde Mathews is a 35 year veteran of the insurance industry. He is our senior most agents with vast knowledge of Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance. Clyde is a Native of the great state of Mississippi and a proud graduate of Jackson State University. Clyde boasts of being from Mississippi but we know he couldn’t wait to get to Texas the Lone Star State as quickly as he could.
Clyde loves being a granddad as he has 2 grandsons and a very spoiled granddaughter. Being happily married to Betty for 33 blissful years is his most prized accomplishments. Winning is in his DNA as he will proudly tell you, “ I won the coveted Honor Ring while with Allstate for 18 consecutive years”!

Markus D Daniels has been with the Ernie Williams Agency since 2011…. he often says, “I was here from the beginning of things and I plan on retiring here someday”. Markus is a native Texan by way of Corsicana Texas and is a 1990 graduate of Corsicana High School and continued his studies at Navarro College majoring in Criminal Justice. Having an extensive background in retail and being an intent listener has contributed to his success with the agency. The willingness to go the extra mile to resolve issues and the stick-to-it attitude has allowed Markus to thrive in this business. In the words of Markus “Lewis Daniels raised me, but Ernie Williams taught me”!
